Today, I came home from work after a nine hour day. I was looking forward to relaxing with some ice tea since I work outdoors and it's 90 degrees out today. My husband informed me that I needed to clean out the fridge to make room for his watermelon. How many hours does my husband work? Zero

Talk to him about it. If he doesn't work, he needs to handle more of the chores. He doesn't have to do all of them, but he at least needs to take care of the big chores like doing laundry, sweeping floors, cleaning out the fridge, and some of the smaller stuff like dusting and sorting mail out to be shredded vs just trashed. Unless he's disabled, him expecting you to work and handle (from how it sounds) all the chores at home is ridiculous. Even if he is disabled, there are still things he could do.
