Today, I asked a guy for directions. He said "well you can either go the short way or the long way, but I wouldn't advise you going the short way, it takes more time than the long way, but if you go the long way you have further to walk". I think he might have been insane FML

I think I know what he meant. You could go a way that is a shorter distance, but it will take more time. Probably due to traffic or whatever it is. The other way is a longer distance, but will take less time than the "shorter way".

Now it makes sense how they "lost the birth certificate" or how many photos of me as a baby are dated before I was actually supposed to be born, because "the camera must've glitched, we must've confused the date we wrote in the back of that card."
