Content almost refused by staff

Today, I am 26 years old and have never used a tampon before. After inserting it incorrectly and walking around with it in like that for half the day, I only found success through receiving detailed instructions and pictures from a friend through Snapchat. FML

Age isn't a big deal. I was 23 when I started using tampons.. I wasn't a Virgin but the thought of something staying up there freaked me... But whatever I got over it.. I couldn't get them in properly either.. Took time to get it.. Each girl is different

Wow, how did you even get to that age? I was 14. I looked over the instructions on the package, got a good look at things with a mirror, and managed.

Don't sweat it, when my sister first tried using a tampon she took the tampon out of the applicator and set the padded part in her underwear.
