Today, for a major LA essay I wrote about why creationism should not be taught in schools. Apparently my teacher is a creationist, she took points off for no reason and wrote me up for being "offensive" and "sac religious". FML

Yeah, that's not allowed… While creationism and religion in general is a very controversial topic, the teacher can't take points off an essay for that. Nor can they take points off for a topic that offends their beliefs. The ONLY exception would be if this essay were for a religion class. In which case, 50/50 chance of the lower grade standing.
