My daughter caught lice when she was 5 years old after sharing hats from those cap and gown ceremony when she graduated from kindergarten! What a nightmare!
Lice is a pain to get rid of. All the girls in my house got it and we still aren't sure from where. They're persistent little creatures.
If it's any help, I've recently had a bad lice infestation and I've found products based on silicone, that suffocate the lice, more effective and less harmful than the insecticide-based ones.
try mayonaise...it helps,that and grease
When I had them I just washed my hair as normal but combed out the conditioner with a lice comb. It's because the chemicals in the lice kits aggravate my eczema. Took 2 washes to remove all the lice and eggs but it sure got rid of them.
Sorry, but I'd say that's a your life sucks because you made it suck.
Just reading this makes my head itch!
You might not have it exactly. It could be a placebo effect, otherwise, that suuuuuuck. Poor op :(
OP, i don't know if you'll see this. But if you actually do have it, you need to toss your pillows and any pillows you've slept on in the time you tried the hat on to the time you put the lice stuff in your hair to get them out. I had lice way back when i was in elementary school, and i had it three times because this girl also had it and her mom wasn't taking care of her. If you can't afford new pillows, try putting them in a garbage bag for like...six weeks or longer, to starve the lice and kill them off. Also do it with any other things you make have come in contact with that lice can get into.
This just isn't true. A lot of people tend to overreact when they have lice, wanting to practically burn down their whole house to get rid of them, overlooking the fact that lice can only survive a day or two anywhere other than on a human head. Just wash your pillowcovers and hats daily untill the lice are gone and you'll be fine.
And now my head is itching, thanks OP!
My girlfriends got crabs trying pants on! At least that's what she said.
Sureee she did..
