Today, at dinner with my parents, after election day, my father told me that I don't know anything about politics. I'm finishing a PhD in Political Science, been teaching at a college for the past 4 years and I'm a published author. FML

Technically, that doesn’t mean you know what you’re talking about. It just means you’re good at presenting information in a cogent and organised manner... That being said.. What do they know about it?

Today, while on a crowded public bus, a cute girl asked if she could sit next to me. Problem is, I didn't hear correctly and thought she asked if anyone was sitting next to me. I answered no, causing her to walk off angrily and earning me several disgusted stares from other passengers. FML

As he stood over me, I saw two beads of sweat roll off his nose. One hit me on the cheek. The other landed in my open mouth. FML
