Better to confess now than later, or they won't trust you down the line.
Maybe lose some weight you fat ****.
The sooner you tell the better. They'll get over it, accidents happen. Are you worried they'll be mad cuz its because of your weight?
I hope you were able to break it to your parents. I want you to know that structurally they shouldn't do that and if it did then it was already damaged.
I'm not sure if "break"it to your parents was supposed to be a pun, but if it was, then it was a good one
I wouldn't blame yourself or think it is your weight. Its most likely an old tub and had worn down. A variety of problems could have occurred. A bathtub should be able to easily withstand like 500 pounds so it was probably caused by wear, it could have been the floor underneath it damaged or rotted away, or possibly a crack that had been being stepped on for years and you just happened to have perfect timing. I know big men who can shower in tiny plastic travel trailer showers without cracking it so unless you weigh 500 pounds you probably didn't do it.
I agree with everyone about fess up, but I have to ask... why on earth were you standing on the side of the tub? That's both dangerous and pointless. you just step over.
I hope you're able to remain calm and tell your parents. I promise it wasn't you... Had mom or dad been in there it would have been them. Eventually, things like bathtubs wear down and break. Sure, they might be mad they have to replace it, but it's not your fault.
I cannot think of a single situation where you'd need to actually stand on the edge of the bath before you hop in. seriously. stand next to the bath, lift one foot over the edge and put it in the water. Repeat with other foot.
