Content almost refused by staff

Today, after six months of searching for a second job to make ends meet and finally landing a job last month, my boss announced that the business is shutting down. But don't worry, they'll keep me around for an extra week to clean out the building. FML

Wtf....Where do you people come up with this shit...? I'm losing my job that I desperately need after just a month. I'm being paid for the hours I work. It's an extra slap in the face that I'll be spending my last week cleaning decades of dirt out of the building and redoing the floors.

If you aren't being paid for your hours, then just don't show. If they refuse to give a previous check, then sue them.
