Today, after nearly a year of job-hunting, I finally got a job doing what I spent 6 years in college and grad school for. It's my dream job. Tomorrow, my car will be repossessed. The job is an hour commute in a rural area. FML

Can you maybe buy a cheap used car off Craigslist? Or borrow one from friends or family? Show the repo guys your job contract and tell them you'll happily pay what you owe with your first pay check?

Today, I ran into someone at a party I thought was a coworker and started talking to them about the company we work for. He listened to me for a bit, then said, “I think you think I’m someone else.” I apologized to this total stranger, walked away, and spent the rest of the party avoiding him. FML
