Today, a lady asks for two $20 gift cards to pay for the people behind her at the drivethru. I kept asking if she was sure. She said yes and drove away, So I charge all the people behind her off of these cards. Hours later she calls the store and complains that she never received her gift cards.

is there by chance cameras at the drive thru. that way you can prove what she asked u to do? if so I'd definitely tell ur boss to look over the cameras!

I hate pay it forward chains too. I once worked at a drive thru and someone did that. After they left and the next person in line pulled forward I explained their drink was paid for by the person who came before them and they got all pissed off and offended and ranted to me about not being a charity case.... =/

Definitely sounds like she had a plan. I've paid for the person in back of me, their order, a handful of times. Just feeling thankful and happy, and decided to pay it forward. But she sounds like an idiot
