Today, a girl said to me, "Sorry, but I have a boyfriend". I hadn't said anything to her. FML

I hate when people assume that you want them! You should of told her "Sorry, was never interested..."

"Get over yourself, bitch" would have been the appropriate response.

i wonder how many times she does that a day.

I'm gonna be the devil's advocate here because everybody is so ready to call the girl stuck up. Maybe OP was checking her out in a non too subtle way and therefore she told him off before he tried to chat her up. If that's not the case, well yeah she needs to get over herself.

#28 Yeah, I don't think she was stuck up, I only kind of knew her. It was one of my friends faults anyway, trying to play match maker.

Eh, it's awkward whatever you do. If you assume they just want to be friends until they make a move then you can spend half an hour wasting their time as they gradually get less subtle...a guy got really pissed off at me at the work the other say because I 'wasted his time' and 'why didn't I say I had a boyfriend earlier?' There's no winning.

Ugh, I hate when some people do that. Maybe she got the impression that you were into her, and wanted to be striaght foward which either way is still rude to come up to someone like that and assume. I've had guys assumed that I was flirting with them and I still don't know what gave them that impression, I was literally standing there confused because I dont flirt with anyone I am not interested in.

Some people are just full of themselves.

Should have told her, Bet you're not as sorry as your boyfriend is.

Maybe thats just her way of saying hello lmao

Apparently you have VERY expressive eyes.

I would have said "sorry but I wasn't interested"
