This weekend I spent $700 to rent a cabin for a halloween party, thinking id make back what I spent if people pitched in after. Anyways, none of my friends went and the few people that did go only smoked weed and played beer pong then passed out by 9pm.

Never pay for something out of your own money and expect to get your money back after the event. Either split the cost up and collect the money before the event, or expect to have to shoulder the entire cost.

Today, I was sitting in the restaurant waiting for my blind date to come. I had sat for an hour until I finally got fed up and went to leave when at the same time the guy at the table next to me stood up to leave too. I noticed he had been sitting alone. Turns out he was my date. FML

Today, I went to class with my bag packed for a weekend trip when it began to vibrate violently. Stopping mid-lecture, the professor approached me and asked politely if I could turn off my cell phone as I was disturbing the other 150 pupils in the class. It was my personal vibrator. FML
