Time for you to move on, mate. I don't know the context of why she denied it, but that is a passive aggressive way of saying, "Hey, we're through." It hurts, yes, but you need to get your stuff back from her and then move on. Hopefully you're not living together. If she wants to say it's not a relationship, you should ask for all the gifts and money you spend on her back. Send her a bill.

Had an ex that did that. She didn't want to tell her friends she was dating me because she was afraid of what they'd think of her since she was dating the "weird guy".

yea.. a lot of people jumped to assuming what they have with a person is exclusive or official. not just guys but girls too. but it's often that one person is in it for real not understanding that the other person doesn't want that commitment. maybe just not yet, or ever.. say that they're seeing eachother maybe going on dates maybe they have had a sexual relationship but to something that's still in the exploration stage of do I want to comit and be "Bf/Gf"
