There there. It can only get better. FYL

Im sorry to hear about that. She really should have some respect for you, that was just rude to embarrass you in public. She really should've waited until you were in private.

She's embarrassed of you. Leave her

At a year you don't really know someone. I say you are better off not getting to know her anymore.

Now in days well in teenage days kids say i love you in the first week. So a year is like a decade to then

Even if you don't know a person that great at a year you should be comfortable enough with your relationship to admit to it.

It looks like shes ashamed of being with you :/ I say you end the relationship no body deserves what she did to you.

The FML community's curiosity demands to know who this "everyone" is! Was it your family members? Close common friends? Nobodies? Or a mix of all three?

I was wondering the same thing. "Everyone" tends to exaggerate what is really around 2 people in my experience. But I'm wondering if it was some friends, strangers or family. Still, really sorry OP. No one deserves that! Hope you left her right there. Plenty of more deserving girls :)

I agree if it was family and you'd been going out for 5 months maybe she didn't want to introduce you yet but after a year comeon.... OP you should clarify your relationship with her before you get really hurt

That means that she was never faithful! I'm sorry OP nobody deserves that!

Wow, I had to read this twice because of how it was worded, but that's really immature on your GF's part, and its kinda embarassing.

So, basically, you're single and ready to mingle?

Then I would have also said in front of everyone, "You're right we never dated and won't ever either." Then left.

Then kick her to the curb and move on to be with someone who appreciates you.
