you have lived 13 years longer than this kid. you shouldve had all types of comebacks to whatever s(he) said.. even "Respect your elders kid " wouldve worked.

That's okay, I'm 23 and on the fourth of July I was at a get together to watch the fire works and this little girl (maybe about 8) asked if I could knit her a scarf as I was knitting and her 4/5 year old sister came over and yelled at me to leave her sister alone and to stop talking to her. well this girl kept asking questions and eventually went to tell her mom about my scarf and her sister came back and said "You need to stop this right now! she is over there talking and I don't like it. stop talking to my sister right now! I have never been more terriffied of a small child. To top it off her sister said bye to me when they left the party and the youngest gave me a death glare.

Ten year olds can be super scary. I don't blame you at all.

They can be intimating. They're only ten and pretty stupid, you don't know what they're capable of and what lengths they'd go to achieve it
