Today, I got my period early. While traveling. For a funeral. I had to walk through two entire airport terminals to find a shop that had any period products, and the only option was an $18 box of tampons. Six tampons, to be precise. FML

^ This right here. The first time I flew I unexpectedly got it, too. Now I always keep a cute little pencil case in my bag with a couple of sizes just in case.

I suppose the funerals were not in the airport, meaning you had enough with 6 to get out the airport and buy other ones. But indeed they were overpriced.

EVERYTHING is overpriced at an airport. But I'm a guy, so my "emergency bag" in my car has a clean set of clothes, $40 and a small box of tissues.
