Your mom must be seriously unobservant. I can understand putting thinks like USB sticks or even your phone or wallet in the wash if you haven't checked pockets, but an Ipad is reasonably big!!

If it was stuck in your sheets, wouldn't it have gotten wrecked in the washer first? Either way, that's awful. Sorry, OP, hopefully it's under warranty or she'll replace it!
