Today, at our work's Christmas party, our manager got completely trashed and let it slip that our branch is closing. Some of us will be transferred, but about 2/3 of us, including the manager, will be fired on the 1st of January FML

I understand how this can be stressful. just try to look at it as an opportunity for something better. one door closes another opens. good luck and god bless you and your coworkers.

That's a real shame to hear. I bet it was eating up your manager not to tell you guys, though. That's probably why it came out when he was drunk. That and him know he's definitely losing his job.
