Ok, first off SHE says it was only because of that but if she didn't know something that is considered fairly common knowledge then there's a chance that the rest of the conversation wasn't particularly stimulating for him either and second if she's the kind of girl that's going to bitch about it to the world I'm sure her reaction wasn't "oh, could you explain the difference" and that her attitude portrayed more of a 'so what?' kind of vibe, which is kind of insulting. This is probably a bit harsh, it would be nice to hear the other side of things but take my advice, broaden your horizons, open your mind, it'll help not just with dating but with making new friends and generally just getting along with people. And get over it, maybe he WAS a jerk or maybe you were, or maybe both and maybe it wasn't about Star Trek and Star Wars at all or maybe only a small part, maybe the chemistry just wasn't there for him.

I agree with #4. That's almost as bad as the poor guy who told the story of being dumped because the girl he was on a date with was disappointed that he wasn't a vampire. You can find someone better.

I made that mistake in music after the teacher asked "What theme song just played?" and I answered while not thinking "Star Trek". But I love how all the fans of those movies said YDI.
