Wow, I hope you told her that is not acceptable. I mean it's alright to disagree with something, but to say that to a veteran? The Vietnam veterans come to mind on this one. They had to deal with people like this. I'm just sickened on this one. I was hoping I would never have to read this again. I hope she doesn't turn into one of those crazy Kanses Baptists type of people. Where ever they're from.
Hey at least your kid knows that it's wrong to kill people. Just teach her a little more courtesy and she'll be fine.

#9 - She's only right if everybody simultaneously decides to think the same way. What if America, Britain, and the USSR had decided to think like that in the 40s, but Germany hadn't? Pacifism is a bit like socialism, in that if one guy decides to screw everybody else he can do so very easily, except on an international scale.
Your daughter is on her way to becoming a fine citizen. Whether you agree with war or not, I hope you made her apologize and told her that it is never acceptable to say things like that to anyone.
