Today, my mother worked out that my boyfriend and I are having sex. Instead of confronting me about it, she now just sits and stares at me judgmentally whenever I'm in the same room as her, making me feel incredibly uncomfortable. FML

If she won't confront you about it, how can you be sure that's what she's upset over? Just genuinely curious!

No this begs the question of how old you actually are? And whether or not her stare is valid. If you were underage and having intercourse with your boyfriend and your mother has found out well sucks to be you. but if you're of age in your mothers giving you the stink eye because you and your boyfriend are having a little fun. She needs to get her own life and let you live yours.

It's your life and you're free to make your own choices

If you are underage for a sexual relationship, then I support your mother and you need to find a way to make things right with her. If you are of proper age for a sexual relationship, look your mother straight in the face and say, "Yes he and I are screwing, every chance we get. And Mom, he's got a huge ****!" But either was, prepare to be "uncomfortable" around her for awhile - tell your boyfriend to prepare as well...

She had sex to get you! as long as you're not too young, she has no right to judge.

does she want OP to be a nun or something? sex is part of life..

How about your mum decides to stop being immature and actually talks with you about it. Wth.

Well, when it comes to moms it doesn't matter how old you are. They are always gonna be giving you the stink-eye over some bs or another. Be thankful your mom cares, and don't fret it too much, this too will pass

Really depends on your age OP.

If she's 16 or older she can legally have sex. It may not be morally right in most families, but here in Australia everybody knows 16 is legal consent age. I just wanted to point this out for anybody else that comments, and for you if you didn't know.

Stop making sex while she's sitting there staring.

Well, it could be worse. If I'd had sex while still living in my parents' house, I would've gotten quite a bit more backlash than being glared at.
