i dislike trains for this very reason, they seem to be full of unsavory people. or perhaps it's just my region...
Maybe his wallet was stolen and all the money were taken from and thrown away before you find it. Hope that you were able to save yourself... The owner's brain seems to be empty just like his wallet, why would you call him if u had the intention to steal his money? 0o

I would tell him go ahead and file charges- he didn't SEE you take the money, which you didn't, and he can't prove it. End of story. This is why people don't do nice things anymore- cuz it bites them in the butt.
