This is one of the very few FMLs that has really made me laugh - Guns? WTF? However, assuming that guns are legal to own and sell where you are (unlike here in the UK) then you might want to take him up on the offer - he wouldn't be offering unless there was a risk you might not be paid otherwise and it's always best to have a gun in your hand when discussing that you haven't been paid! Sorry - I mean it's always best to have something of resale value rather than nothing at all.
