Today my boyfriend (maybe ex) is pissed at me because when he asked for space, I gave him exactly that. I didn’t call, text, or give any sort of communication. He took it as a sign that I must not be truly invested in us if I didn’t reach out. I thought we were adults not highschoolers. FML

Today, I saw my boyfriend took me off his relationship status on Facebook. He just left “In a relationship” blank. This came after he added some girl. When I confronted him about it, he screamed at me to the point of tears, and told me to stop worrying about stupid shit. Apparently, I also ruined his day. FML

It reminds me of a story where a man "broke up" with his girlfriend by text, so she said, okay, and moved ahead. When he next saw her, he was upset that she was moving on. He sent her the message hoping she'd beg him not to leave her. He asked for space; you gave it to him. Why is he mad?
