Today, my girlfriend was watching an online video by some vegan girl with a bad fringe talking about bulk buying food to stay healthy. My immediate remark was, "Bulk buy a new fringe, bitch." It went very quiet before my girlfriend replied, "That's my sister." FML

Today, I told my younger sister that meat comes from cute animals like chickens and cows, hoping she'd want to be vegan like me. Instead, she laughed and made up a song about how chickens turn into tenders and cows turn into cheeseburgers. I ended up being the one who got upset. FML

Today, my girlfriend threw a bitch fit about her clothes not fitting and how she’s “so fat” to the point of storming out of the house when I asked her to please calm down. Just a couple of hours earlier, we'd ordered food and she ordered a salad, then asked to trade my burger and fries with her. FML

Today, I was out shopping with my little sister. I wanted to try something on, so I put my bag in front of a changing room and jokingly told her to bark if someone came near. She ended up biting a lady who was trying to get into one of the changing rooms. FML

Today, my sister is furious with me and said i will never see my nieces again. Last weekend, while I babysat for her, I taught them the meaning of veganism and animal rights, even showing them a few videos about the meat and dairy industry, and how the animals are kept and treated. Now she won’t speak to me. FML

Even if you know someone you are with has a sibling, doesn’t mean you know what they look like if you haven’t met them. Sisters don’t often do themselves up to video chat together like they would for going out or taking pictures. And with some girls, there is a huge difference in appearance.

My husband and I playfully insult shows/movies/videos one of us likes if the other doesn't. Just cause you're dating someone doesn't mean you have to like EVERYTHING they watch. And anyone who says they do is b.s.ing.

It's not about liking everything the other likes but you don't just randomly call someone your partner seems to enjoy names when you don't know anything about them. This isn't "Man this show sucks", it's "some video by some vegan girl" where he's randomly insulting the video host without having the slightest clue about it
