Though that was very rude of your counselor, I completely agree with #2, and was about to say that myself.
You should thank her for pointing out how stupid you were before you started contacting universities about their astrology programs - now that would have made you look really stupid
Wow to all those who are calling him/her stupid- get a life. We all **** up our vocab sometimes. It's life. And even so, you can LEARN the RIGHT terminology. Guidance counselor was WAYYYYYY out of line. They should probably quit if they hate the job so much that they are actually hurting students. Wow. I am so sorry that had to happen to you.
It's one thing to forget a word. To not know the difference between the field you want to study and a fake "science" is another thing, and it's a very good sign of the OP's stupidity.
The counselor shoudln't have talked to you like that, but you BOTH should know that astrology is the study of the stars as in star signs and horoscopes and that astroNOMY is the study of stars/space/planets
hahahahahahaahahahahahahahaha you gotta admit, the astrology thing was a fail. but your guidance counselor is a total BITCH!

Your counselor probably had a point. If you were interested in space you would want to be an astronomer, not an astrologist.
Oh my god, that's horrible.
