Today, I went to my guidance counselor and told her how I'd been fascinated with space since I was 12, had read about the universe and everything, and how I want to be an astrologist when I grow up. She stared at me for a second, before saying, "But you're... stupid." FML

Today, I had a conference with my dad, my counselor, and my history and English teachers because my dad was "concerned" about my grades in those two classes. We talked for a while and it was going well, then my counselor asked what I wanted to study in college. I said I wanted to be a teacher. He laughed. FML

hahahaha your counselor was right, you are an idiot. So are you #126. astrologist and astronomer are definitely NOT the same things. And if this moron supposedly wants to make a career of something, they would be a little more familiar with the terminology.

126 - there is a HUGE difference between psychologist and psychiatrist. If you think they are the same, you are just as stupid as the OP. A psychiatrist is a medical doctor, a psychologist isn't. You wouldn't go to a psychologist if you needed medication for a psychiatric illness because they couldn't prescribe it.

I agree with your counselor. You must be stupid if you don't even know the name of what you want to become. Unless you want to write horoscopes, you're thinking of being an astronomer. By the way, you're never going to become one. Pure fascination doesn't cut it, you have to have brains, too. So, bottom line, your counselor is dead on.
