Today, after working for over a decade at the same place, I was formally written up with two days of leave without pay for refusing to work extra overtime. I've been working over 80 hours a week for four months now and even cancelled some very important plans so I could work every day. FML

Today, I started a new job. The hours are long, but I didn't mind as I could REALLY use the overtime. Turns out, they don't pay over time. I'm just expected to go "above and beyond for the company." FML

You are a terrible human being for relying to get a bonus based on the exploitation of your team. I guess they would have not seen a penny if you earned that bonus. You dont deserve a bonus from a work you didnt do.

I’m supposed to feel sorry that you lost out on a bonus because your workers refused to work OT for you? I highly doubt you are going to get much sympathy
