I'm not allowed to touch the lawn mower anymore bc I broke the last 3...same with the dishwasher, unintentionally of course but it is a good way to get out of doing chores

Um NO. Not necessarily. It depends what kind of lawnmower he has. Some of them have bags attached to catch the grass (or newspaper in this case) and some just spew it out the sides/back.
