Although about 500 other people have said it. Red hair is recessive, same with blonde hair and blue eyes. You should only worry if you kid comes out with black hair and brown eyes.

no offence, but your a moron. blone and red hair are both resessive and if both of you carry the gene then obv. there was a chance of having a red head son.

Yea, don't stress... my mom has red hair and my dad's hair is black. All 3 of us kids turned out with blonde hair. Unless you don't like the fact that your child isn't perfect by Hitler's standards... then I can't help you out.

Probably because you inherited the non-red from your dad and the blonde from your mom. People with flaming-red hair have the blonde gene, plus the redness mutation. Darker hair makes red tint harder to see.

yeah, but isn't blonde hair a recessive gene ? i'm pretty sure it is, because that's what i have learned in biology this year. ahah. but i don't know what to tell you, but i do find this HIGHLY amusing.

I learned that hair has a bazillion alleles and the exact shade of your hair depends on the proportion of light alleles to dark alleles.
