Today, my sister had her first kiss. She was very excited and she told me all about it. She then asked me to tell her about the first time I kissed a guy, what it was like, who it was with, etc. I had to make one up. I have never been kissed before. My sister is 6 years younger than me. FML

So what if she's 6 years younger than you. Why lie about something so trivial? That's far more lame than not being kissed yet. And I find it strange that you felt the need to mention that you're 6 years older than her but did not specify your age. So if she's 13 and just had her first kiss, that would only make you 19 and still young enough to not make it a big deal. Trust me, there are far more horrible things in life to worry about than a first kiss. Don't worry yourself about it!

If the OP is 9 and the sister is 3, that is just ****** up. And if the OP is 65 and the sister is 59, what's so great about the sister? Just knowing an age difference makes it hard to make the appropriate derisive comment.

Nothing wrong with that. i thought there was something wrong with me because all my friends had bf's in high school and had first kisses. i didn't get my first boyfriend until i was 21, and am still with him 2 years later. i say wait for the right person and get your first kiss with him! it makes such a better memory knowing you kissed your first love instead of some boy back in high school who you would probably not last long with. as w"hysoserious22" said, most guys like being the first to kiss a girl they like. :)

I don't think it's the age that makes the fml, it's the fact that her younger sister kissed first. I can see how that could bother the OP as I'm in a similar situation. I have a younger sister (3 years) and i think she started kissing at 15, now I'm 20 and in college and have yet to kiss anyone (or have a meaningful relationship for that matter). I've had opportunity but they weren't for me.

You know, I'm 20 years old and I had my first kiss about six months ago. He's been my best friend for years and we're perfect for each other. I'm SO glad I didn't waste a single kiss on anyone else!
