Yes, indeed, your fi needs to be aware of what she's said and how you feel about it. You saying things directly to her and/or either of you allowing it to go on will just make things worse - he needs to establish the boundaries and expectations between you two as a couple and her. As long as you're treating her son right, she needs to accept her changing role as a parent and realize she's not the #1 woman in his life. You will need to realize that there's a good chance this woman will not grow to like you (and the feeling may be mutual) but she is still an important part of his life; you will have to share some things with her like special occasions, holidays and birthdays. Work with your hubby to be to make it as easy of an experience as possible for all three of you, and try to grin and bear the rest.

For the Op. it's not worth the fight and the hassle. And in the long run all your gonna do is be resented by ur inlaws. trust me on this one. from the time I got married my wife's mother tried to get her to divorce me. on our wedding day she told my wife she couldn't take her to the church. had to send someone to get her. she has even went as far as trying to pay either one of us off to get a divorce. so after 9 yrs I just hang around to piss my mother in law off. Now to number 14 and 15 your both hot!!! And to number 59 I tried to slide it to unlock. And nothing happened.
