Today, I was going to meet my friend at a concert. I got there before her, so I went in to check out the local bands that were playing before the headliner. When she got there, I went just outside the building to give her a ticket. The security guards wouldn't let me back in. She went in anyway. FML

Today, my friend and I went to see our favorite band in concert. We walked at least a mile from our parking space and stood in line for two hours. My friend was supposed to have the tickets in her purse. She actually had, but she left her purse in the car. FML

Today, I walked into a concert that I've been waiting months for. Immediately after passing through the doors, I was accused of sneaking in and thrown out. They wouldn't even look at my ticket, or the hand stamp they'd given me. FML

Today, it was the concert of my life. I had bought tickets the minute they went on sale, and I'd anxiously waited until the concert date. Thirty minutes before the show, my friend got so drunk that we weren't allowed in, and I was stuck babysitting her all night in the hotel, completely missing the show. FML

Today, I was at a metal concert and I met a really cute girl. We got talking, and started getting close. We were about to kiss during the transitional period between 2 bands, but I was then pulled away by her father, who owned the venue. I was thrown out. Before the main act. FML

Today, ever supportive of my friends, I went to a concert and tried to really get into the music. I was jumping and dancing, only to realize I was at the wrong concert. My friend's band was playing next door. I spent half an hour dancing with strangers to music I didn't even really like. FML

Today, I drove six hours with a friend to see one of her favorite bands in concert. We were turned away at the door because the online site didn't say we had to be 21 to enter. I drove six hours back with nothing to show for it but an empty gas tank and useless tickets. FML

YDI. Everybody knows that once you leave the venue there is no re-admission. And there are usually many signs at the entrance to tell you this. And I wouldn't blame your friend. Why waste 2 tickets instead of just 1 because you were too stupid to talk to a security guard or read a sign.

It's well-known there's a no-reentry policy at concerts. People are thieves and would use that to get more than one person in on one ticket. You could go in with 3 people, go back out and give the other 2 ticket stubs to 2 people, then the 3 of you walk back in. 2 people would get in for free. YDI.

I'm a security officer. Everything we do is based on exact orders. A lot of what we say is even scripted. If we don't follow those exact rules we lose our jobs, just like everyone else.

fyl. it suks that couldnt get back in but i can see why your friend went in , why waste a ticket. then again if you guys were really close or somethin def a jerk move.
