Today, I discovered that I once again forgot my credit card in the vending machine at work. This is the second time in a week that this happened, and now 6 coworkers have bought drinks with my card since I lost it. I have no way of making it back to work for a week. FML

why can't you have someone at work put your credit card away for you? Using your credit card to buy stuff just because you left it sitting in the vending machine is still illegal. in a sense, it is credit card theft.

Have the credit card company put a. Temporary hold on the card. Problem solved.

I get the feeling that you're the kind of person that shouldn't have a credit card. It might be a little inconvenient to pay in cash but much less inconvenient than having other people spend a ton of money at your expenses. You're lucky they only bought drinks with it!

Cancel the card immediately and stop payment on those sodas. Gather all your coworkers and hand them the bill along with the stop payment fees for each of those sodas!
