Today, I bought a new $10,000 car since my old one broke down. Today, I also found out the old one wasn’t starting because i never had it in park. FML

Today, my car broke down. Yesterday, my husband mentioned he found my dream car for sale, but I'd insisted my car had a lot of miles left and we should save money. They sold my dream car this morning. Now I'm carless. FML

Today, I got woken up by my parents telling me I had to go buy a car so they could have transportation. Neither of their cars work, so I was letting them use mine, and then they wrecked it. It needs nearly a thousand bucks in repairs to be drivable again, but since it was my car, I have to replace it now to appease them. FML

Today, on Christmas Eve, as I was getting my car loaded for the holiday rounds to the in-laws and parents, my car decided now was the time to break down. I recently put in over $1000 fixing it. FML

How did you manage to pass a driver's test? Unless you're driving a stick shift, YOU ALWAYS PUT IT IN "PARK" WHEN YOU PARK. That's why they call it "PARK"!

I’ve done this before. I was 16 or 17, and was waiting outside my dance studio to pick someone up. I had turned the car off to save gas, but never removed my foot from the brake, so I wasn’t aware I didn’t put it in park. Took me a bit to figure out the problem. Just one of those blonde moments.

That stupid mistake aside, you never tried to even get your supposedly broken car checked/fixed and just went and bought a new car? You deserve every bit of this.
