Miserable bastard

Today, I called my husband when his shift at work ended to talk about what we needed to do this weekend. He got angry and asked if he could have "five goddamn minutes" after work to get home and change before I started "throwing the fucking to do list at me." FML

he's right. he needs a few minutes to think about absolutely nothing. work is not a vacation from home, it can be mentally exhausting. I'm pretty sure '5 minutes' isn't even enough.

Keep that up and he won't answer your calls until he is home and done sitting in the car alone for 30 minutes.

I mean, yeah you could have given him some time. but damn he didn’t have to react that way either

You SO deserve it. He works all day, all week, and now you throw weekend jobs at him. Poor guy; HE should have written a FML.

Treating your partner like a useful object instead of a person with feelings is the fastest way to loose them. Give the poor bastard a breather between ending work and you nagging him about the work you want him to do. Did you even let him get out of his jobs door before you were breathing down his neck about what YOU want? No. You deserved it now start treating him better if you want to keep him.

YDI, my ex-wife used to do that, then call me every pay day as well to tell me where my entire paycheck went.
