Today, my parents and I went to the movies for my mom's birthday. After the movie, my mom and dad got into a fight, and left me at the movies. My cell phone was dead, and my house was about 12 miles away. They finally came and picked me up, hours later. FML

I found out later she took her ex. Now they're back together, and I paid for the date that made it happen. FML

Today, my mother showed up to pick something up from my house. I was sleeping and before I knew it she was in my bedroom, jumping on my bed, saying hi to my ex-girlfriend who she thought was with me. It wasn't my ex, and I doubt that girl will ever want to hang out again after that awkward morning. FML

in all probability the mom is not sleeping with the ex. we can't just assume that. nevertheless, it's a weird and awkward situation. and my bf last year kept making comments about my mom, which creeped me out a bit (before he even met her...). i think i blocked it out. lols.
