Today, these cute girls approached me and asked me to take a picture of them. One girl asked me if I could send it to her because her phone had died. I was excited to have her number, but it turns out that she deleted the message after she sent the picture to herself. FML

Today, I went to a rock concert and met this amazing girl. We started talking and then swapped cell numbers. Five minutes later, she asks to see my cellphone, so I gave it to her. Once I got home I went to text her and saw that she deleted her number. FML

Today, I got this beautiful girl's number at a bar. After the night was over, I was pretty drunk and sent too many drunk Snapchats. When I'd sobered up, I deleted them. She asked why I deleted them, so I said because I was drunk and didn't remember what I sent. She hasn't messaged me back since. FML

Today, I got a text from a woman containing many naked pictures of her. Apparently she meant to send those to her boyfriend whose number is one digit from mine. The bad part? My girlfriend was using my phone when I received that message. FML

Today, I was texted by a number that their "date" had given them. I replied that they'd got the wrong number. She then sent me a picture of herself and started flirting. I was suspicious about this, so I ran her photo through Google image finder. Her "photo" is apparently used by scammers. FML

To be honest I think that was a bit more polite of her and as they didn't know you it'd be a bit odd for her to sneakily give you her number that way. I don't really see anything wrong here.

"Excited to have her number." She didn't give it to you so you could be a total creep and start texting her. She gave it to you so you could send her a photo. The end. Nothing more. And no wonder she was cautious, half the people in the comments are giving instructions on how to stalk her after she made an explicit move to avoid being contacted. She doesn't want to be bothered. Taking her photo was not a romantic encounter. Move on.

This whole FML is skeevy to me. "Excited to have her number"? Which number? If your talking about her's, she didn't give it to you, you simply did her a slight favour. If you really wanted to get to know her, you should of talked to her instead of sneakily trying to get her number. Plus, no girl has ever been set alight by some random guy texting her without her permission. Imagine if it was a strange girl who you weren't interested in, or attracted to, texting you. Get over yourself. She really dodged a bullet here.

OP sounds like a guy that generally isn't outgoing and might not be the type to approach girls, for the fact he was "excited to have her number". Perhaps he thought this was the girls way of giving him her number, so I can understand the FML. I don't understand all the "creep" comments, seems so cynical to automatically assume OP is a creep because he was excited at the thought a cute girl might have bee. interested in him.
