Health risk

Today, my mum gave me half-raw chicken for dinner. After she refused to cook it again, I threw it away saying that I didn't want to get salmonella. She told to be more grateful, and that I was an idiot for trying to use salmonella as an excuse because, "It's chicken, not salmon." FML

You should have said 'I meant chicken pox!'

Well, you probably should have cooked it again yourself rather than throw it away, but fyl, that's disgusting.

Fyl for a lazy mum, but ydi for not taking it upon yourself to cook it more.

Way to disspell the rumour that Brits are bad cooks.

If you know how to cook chicken properly why didn't you cook it yourself instead of throwing it out?

not saying YDI, but why couldn't you throw it back in the pan and cook it, instead of wasting the food?

72- Depends on the type of said nuts.

I understand not wanting to eat it undercooked, but throwing it away? That I don't get.
