op, I agree with your mom
Lay off the dick sucking
dirty mouth? clean it up with orbit. :)
I appear to be the only person here who has no problem with sharing toothbrushes. While some are grossed out, I have a few friends who, if I sleep over at their house and forget my toothbrush, will let me use theirs, and vice versa. -waits for everyone to call me a disgusting person-
Even if you don't do anything sketchy with your mouth it still has billions of bacteria. So you could and likely do have diseases in your mouth, and you for sure do when you have a cold etc. What she said makes perfect sense and sharing a toothbrush, no matter who with, is disgusting and unsanitary.

Also, to people saying they share water bottles or kiss etc and wonder what the difference is, toothbrushes are used to pick up and scrub specifically the bacteria and plaque in your mouth, so there is a much higher risk of cross contamination than just from something that gets bacteria from touching the surface.
*yes I do see that my comment posted the first part twice, but I can't delete it...
"You are" Mom is hilarious? Nope. Try again.
Haha! I like your mom!
