Why do I get the suspicion given the title, and time frame, this is because Grandma refuses to get a paticular vaccination?
So, grandma, were you told not to and did it anyway? If so, you're lucky you get to visit at all. Shame on you for adding to your son's "nasty wife"'s burdens by making her have to look after two infants, or people who act like infants.
So there are rules about kissing newborns. Only immediate family members are allowed to kiss the newborn. If someone outside the household kisses the newborn and they are ill, without even knowing it, some illnesses could be passed to the newborn. Newborns do not have a mature immune system and any virus/disease could kill them. So those 'nasty parents' were probably very angry that you would risk killing your grandchild because you couldn't follow simple instructions for 7-8 weeks.
"For getting caught".... meaning you knew not to.
He's your son, not your boyfriend. That's their baby, not yours and your son's. Get therapy for your entitlement and whatever else is going on with you.
I bet you get cold sores and don't give a single hoot that the virus KILLS new borns... No wonder they don't want you anywhere near their children, you'd rather risk their lives for your satisfaction than protect them. Some ******* 'Grandmother' you are.
