Today, to make my dorm neighbours think I'm popular, I blasted music and screamed at the top of my lungs so it sounded like I was having a party. My residence manager slapped me with a noise violation, and demanded to come in to make sure we weren't drinking. I had to explain why I was by myself. FML

Today, I got drunk until morning at a college friend's apartment with bunch of strangers. Some officials came in due to the noise and I tried to scare them away by pretending to sing a latin song of worship I made up, thinking they'd respect the gathering if it was a religious one. FML

Today, I left my window open while practicing the saxophone. My drunk neighbours showed their appreciation for the music with a well-aimed firecracker that set my mattress on fire. My landlord has threatened to evict me as she thinks I set it off. FML

Today, my elderly neighbour was having some kind of house party. It was incredibly loud, so I went and asked if he could tone it down a little. He responded by grabbing a deck chair, smacking me with it, then chasing me back to my house, all while his guests cheered him on. FML

Today, my downstairs neighbours screamed at me for making so much noise that I woke their children up and made them cry. The noise was the sound of a loose floorboard shifting as I crept to my bathroom, and again on my way back to bed. They've sworn to get me evicted. FML

Today, I was docked and fined in my dorm building because of multiple noise complaints. What was I doing that was so noisy? I slipped in the shower and banged my head against the floor. Then when I reached for the towel rack to pull myself up, it broke and I slammed my wrist onto the ground. FML

Today, I finally had some alone time to relax and watch a movie. As soon as I pressed play, my neighbor started blasting their music so loud I could feel the bass in my chest. I tried calling the landlord, but they didn't answer. I ended up watching the movie with subtitles while listening to my neighbor's music. FML

Good god OP what the hell is wrong with you? You couldn't be more of a loser if you tried. I'd give up on college if I were you, you obviously have the intellectual capacity of a turnip and the personality of a soiled bath mat. PS your neighbours won't think you're cool for having a party, they'll think you're a dick for being loud and obnoxious. I weep for the future. Just think, OP is allowed to vote. :(

Congrats, definitely the saddest story I've read in a while. Now no one that lives around you- or knows someone who does- will EVER speak to you again, isn't that great? haha dude even if you hadn't gotten that citation everyone would think you were going to kill them in their sleep after that creepiness went down.

because I dont like being with other people? I have "friends" it doesn't mean I like them but I basically just use them for money weed and a place to stay if something happens
