Shoulda used the money on a gym membership then, epic fail.
Ahhh, dw I've been in a smimilar situation before, I'm not a large person but I was particularly bloated on that particular day and some old woman was talking to me and said "So you're going to be a mom soon?" I was like NO I'M JUST BLOATED GODDAMMIT. Enjoy your dress! Or return it if it's not flattering.
...No?
how do you guys not get this? and wtf is a pregnancy dress? clearly, she was wearing a tight dress and has a not-completely-inhumanly-flat stomach as most women do, and in that dress it appeared she had a slight baby bulge. she is not pregnant and now feels she wasted 500 dollars by buying a dress she looks pregnant in. however, she wasted the 500 dollars by buying one single dress. seriously that's like 2 round trip tickets to disney world.
A pregnancy dress is a dress you wear . . . When you're pregnant. Simple. And I'm pretty sure everyone understands what you're talking about. But I guess some people thought she also could have meant that she accidentally spent $500 on a pregnancy dress when she isn't actually pregnant. I doubt that's it, though.
why is everyone hating on her for buying an expensive dress? maybe she's a super-successful woman with a good career and wanted to treat herself to something nice. there's no harm in that! sorry about the guy on the train love, i think we all have one of those days.
There's an unspoken limit on that. Rich or not, $500 for a dress is BULLSHIT.
That blows...seriously. But spending 500 bucks on a dress does too. I hope it was for some really special occasion....I don't even think I'll be spending that much on my wedding dress! try buying cheaper clothes, then if you need to do a little DIY tailoring, you won't feel bad for cutting into designer duds.
