I have been noticing this gift card obsession with my siblings too. People have forgotten the true meaning of gifts. Gifts are no longer given out of love/respect/gratitude. They are given out of obligation (because you gave it last time) or just to impress others...or heck, gifts are given just for the sake of it. This is a bad trend.
Give him some brotherly hang out time for his birthday
If you see my comment message me! I know who your username is! I love Mitch Rapp haha. Awesome book series! Anyway I'm sorry OP.:/ that sucks! But at least your brother wants to get something for you.
Ask for some coupons to hang out
I think he meant tangible, but I could be wrong.
Wow. You must made your brother's life hell.
Wow, that's a pretty douchey move on your brother's part. I know time is valuable, but if you can't spend a little time with your family members for special occasions such as birthdays ... I hope that he has a legitimate excuse such as a work commitment. Hopefully you can spend the day with people who appreciate you. Happy Birthday, OP!
I don't want to eat the devil's avocado, but maybe because he's really busy and isn't able to do so? Even if so, he should find some time at a later date to hang out. Hope you have a nice birthday though OP!! c:
