Maybe it had something to do with the fact that she knew the difference between T-W-O and T-O-O. Just a thought.
No, she said it correctly. She was saying that not only were her and her ex married at the time, the other woman, the high school sweetheart, was also married at the time. So "too" is correct. Alls she missed was a comma. "She was married too, with kids."
Maybe, since it was supposed to be the day before your wedding and you were still calling her your girlfriend instead of fiancee, you kind of deserve it.
