I'm Christian and have gone to many different Christian churches of different Christian branches, spoken with many Christian people with differing beliefs. And it is common knowledge to a Christian person that God loves absolutely everyone. People who fervently believe that "God hates gays" are ignorant. Plus, the Bible says we are saved through knowing Jesus, not for good deeds or being a good person. So even if the Bible claims homosexuality is wrong, I doubt it is a one-way ticket to hell.

Ugh, you ignorant jerks! I'm quite sure the bible clearly states that being gay goes against nature. Many other things do too, things that are accepted in society. These things include being born blind, deaf, or with a mental retardation. The bible also states that God loves all people. Why should gay people be excluded? And anyway, who says the bible is right? The bible didn't just appear on Earth after being written by God himself. People wrote it. And many people have strong opinions. And sorry that happened dude. Maybe you should refrain from that while parents are visiting. But hey, you live and you learn.

I'm a girl. A girl that likes girls. Granted, one thats lucky enough not to have grown up in America. Because from what i've seen, as a large nation that 'believes in freedom and rights' there is sooooo much hate towards every group in society from everywhere else. Issues, much?? I also have to agree with someone up further that commented on gay males receiving the brunt of the homophobic hatred as opposed to females... i would agree hands down, because I've seen it with my guy friends who may incur a bit of stick, where as I am left to my own devices; and thats also sad... (perhaps a form of sexism??.... not that i think its a good idea to really put this forward, considering the issues this FML has caused with religious, political, sexuality already) I went to a catholic school, i was the top graduate of my year, I am a well rounded individual (because to some people this seems to validate my opinion). i believe in God and accept that everyone is entitled to their own beliefs about the way they choose to live their OWN lives... but at the end of the day.. as long as people are not abusing others (verbally, phyiscally etc.) and are paying their taxes (lol) then why not accept them as your own equal.. because everyone was born equal, and die equal as well. So, as much as some people would like to search or create reasons for themselves to be rated above others, the truth is... they are no better than me, and we are no better than a crack-addicted, homeless person that hasn't washed his hands in months.
