Been there done that! It totally sucks!
I know this is old, but I wanted to comment in case anyone reads this that can relate... If you put up with this at work, QUIT. When I was 17 I had a terrible job with a boss exactly like that, that would threaten to fire me if I called in when I was sick, even if I had a doctor's note. He also called me his "little ****" and tried to get in my pants whenever he could. I was stupid and worked there for a year. Quitting was the best decision I ever made. I'm so much happier now that when I look back at what I used to put up with, I can't believe I was such a naive little girl. There is ALWAYS something better out there. NOTHING is worth working for someone that treats you like that. Even if you can't just up and quit, start looking for another job and find one and THEN quit. Don't stay in a situation like that. It's just not worth it.
good for you! No one ever should have to put up with crap like that. I only hope than in the case of your old boss, someone else turned him in for doing the same things.
Dick!
"no"
I HATE bosses that pull that shit on you! They can bail on you or take as many breaks as you want, but you have to make up for every second you miss for whatever reason, even if it means you were in the hospital during that time.
reminds me of my old boss. my old boss was my mother.
