I'm 27 years old. I'm a doctor in Cape Town, South Africa - I'm currently doing a lot of clinic work during the day and casualty work overnight, and I'm loving it, but my main interest is HIV medicine - HIV is such a prevalent condition, and affects every sphere of human life so negatively and completely, and there is so much that can be done to improve the situation, if one has a holistic approach. I'm also a mother, to an awesome little boy, Max, and he really is a calming and soothing influence when work gets a bit much. I love music (mainly old rock / folk / punk, and a bit of newer grunge), movies (faves: True romance, Apocalypse now, Platoon, Star Wars), and reading (faves: Hunter S Thompson, Chuck Palahniuk, Aldous Huxley, Neil Gaiman).
