Plenty of other places you can put the cucumber. No not there. Though you do not need to keep it refrigerated, 37C is also not good.

You could always just slice it and store it in a ziplock? Or cut it in half and put some lemon juice or vinegar on the open ends to preserve it.

Whats the point of having a fridge that is so small you can't fit a cucumber in it. can't you just buy a larger fridge? or possibly cut it in half? and is the fridge just full?
