Today, I’m at this huge beach party in Thailand. I kiss a beautiful girl and decide to take it to the next level. While putting my hand under her skirt, I feel something out of place. I look at her and she says, “What? You prefer ladies?” FML

This is totally unrelated but what happened to the site? Where did "you deserved it" go? "I agree, your life sucks" and "Phew, glad it wasn't me" mean the same thing pretty much.

With the new format I may be mistaken but you marked your gender as female? So.... I'm confused. You're a lesbian? Generally for relationship FML's I assume straight unless some clue is given. I did not see a clue unless it was very cleverly hidden.

Sure, you might make that assumption. But once you find out your assumption is wrong, the correct response isn't to go 'hurr durr, lesbians? Me no understand'. You go 'okay' and move on.
